Peter Purkiss
BA Dip Arch RIBA
After training as an Architect at Portsmouth University, Peter returned to Saffron Walden from working in London to take over the practice from his father in 1986. Peter has an excellent knowledge of the local planning policies and has built up very good working relationships with many of the planning and conservation officers in the area allowing design proposals to be well considered from the outset.

Peter Stollery
BA (Hons) Dip Arch (ARB registered Architect)
Peter studied Architecture at the University of Sheffield and joined the practice in September 1998. Peter qualified as an Architect in 1999 and brings a thorough approach to the design process within the practice, together with an imaginative and practical background to residential architectural detailing having designed and built his own home extension during 2007/8.
Gideon Brimmer
BSc (Hons) Dip Arch RIBA
Gideon joined the practice in March 2004 having studied Architecture at East London and London Metropolitan before qualifying as an Architect at Cambridge University in 2005. Gideon’s well read understanding of contemporary architecture has allowed the practice to develop its approach to residential projects during the last ten years, with a number of highly detailed contemporary extensions complementing the practice’s more traditional background.

Sergio Potosi
Architect (qualified in Colombia)
Sergio studied architecture Universidad del Valle (Cali, Colombia) and qulaified in 2000. Sergio worked as an architect in Barcelona and Madrid before moving to England in 2012. Sergio joined the practice in April 2019.

Harrison Smith
MA
Harrison joined the practice in August 2017 after studying architecture at Liverpool University.
Alex Patten
Alex joined the practice as a junior assistant on a part time basis in February 2019 to gain experience alongside his Architectural Technologist’s course at Cambridge Regional College.
