After training as an Architect at Portsmouth University, Peter returned to Saffron Walden from working in London to take over the practice from his father in 1986. Peter has an excellent knowledge of the local planning policies and has built up very good working relationships with many of the planning and conservation officers in the area allowing design proposals to be well considered from the outset.

Peter Stollery

BA (Hons) Dip Arch (ARB registered Architect)

Peter studied Architecture at the University of Sheffield and joined the practice in September 1998. Peter qualified as an Architect in 1999 and brings a thorough approach to the design process within the practice, together with an imaginative and practical background to residential architectural detailing having designed and built his own home extension during 2007/8.

Gideon Brimmer

Sarah studied Architecture at University College London before working in London, and then moved to Glasgow to study at the Mackintosh School of Architecture. Following working in practise in Glasgow she qualified as an architect in 2009. A move back to East Anglia followed with further work in practice in Cambridge. Sarah brings experience of design and construction of private residential projects, social housing, and the conversion and renovation of historic buildings. After time away following the birth of her children, and a stint living in rural Albania (whilst her partner worked on the construction of a hydro electric scheme), Sarah joined the practice in September 2016.”
