Extensions and alterations

The client required a garden room extension to link the house with the extensive garden to the rear. The completed scheme presents a contemporary zinc roofed extension with large skylight over an open plan garden room with foldingsliding doors to two elevations. Flush detailing to internal and external floors and ceilings, full-height doors and oversailing roof blur the boundary between inside and outside. With doors fully opened the room is both part of the house and part of the garden.
